一 USE
“The
"Leading" brand solvent filter is made of high-quality glass
material, with uniform wall thickness, no bubbles, and an attractive
appearance. It can be used for sterilization under high temperature and high
pressure, featuring good sealing performance, fast flow rate, and standard
ground joints. This device is lined with a microporous filter membrane and can
be used for sample filtration in chemical analysis, hygiene inspection,
biopharmaceuticals and pesticides, petroleum, environmental protection testing
and other fields to detect and remove particles and bacteria in liquids本装置内
二 Construction
This device is made
of high-quality glass. It is divided into three parts: upper, middle and lower.
The upper part is a one-cup ground mouth container called a filter cup, with
capacities of 300ml and 500ml. In the middle is an inner grinding port support
device with a suction nozzle. At the center, there is a flat-ground glass sand
chip for supporting the filter membrane, named the filter head, corresponding
to specifications of 1L and 2L. The lower end is a pressure-resistant container
with an outer ground mouth, named a conical flask. The corresponding capacities
are 1000ml and 2000ml, and they are equipped with special aluminum alloy clamps
for tight connection of the entire device. The clamps have undergone oxidation
treatment and can resist chemical corrosion.
三 HOW
TO USE
First, clean all
parts of the device. According to the usage requirements, select a filter
membrane with different performance and pore size and cover it on the flat
surface of the sand core plate of the filter head. Align and install the upper
filter cup, flatten it, and then fasten it firmly with clips. Connect the
triangular bottle and then connect the suction nozzle to the vacuum pump. It
can be used for filtration.
四 Attention
1.Before use, all parts of the filter must be cleaned
thoroughly. Generally, they can be wiped with detergent, then rinsed repeatedly
with clean water, and finally washed with distilled water for later use (for
aseptic experiments, self-disinfection and sterilization are required).
2. It is not suitable for the filtration of hydrofluoric
acid, hot concentrated phosphoric acid, hot or cold concentrated alkaline
solutions, as it may cause glass corrosion or damage to the sand core.
3. When installing, it is essential to ensure that all
parts are placed flat and secure. Only then can they be fixed with clips;
otherwise, it is very likely to cause damage or leakage.
4. Our company offers two types of microporous filter
membranes for water solutions and organic solutions, with different pore sizes,
for users to choose from. A 1000ml solvent filter corresponds to a filter membrane
with a diameter of 50mm or 47mm, a 2000ml solvent filter corresponds to a
filter membrane with a diameter of 60mm, and there is also a 2000ml solvent
filter with a filter membrane of 50mm or 47mm.
五 Description
The glass of
the solvent filter is high borosilicate glass with an expansion coefficient of
3.3, which complies with ISO 3585 and ASTM E438 Grade 1 A standards. This type
of glass is mainly characterized by its best chemical stability, low
coefficient of expansion, processability and high-temperature impact
resistance, and it also has strong resistance to water, acid and alkali. The
triangular bottles are provided by North Glass Company and the product quality
is stable.
